More Aroma

The taste changes depending on the degree of ripeness of the banana. Initially, when the banana starts to become edible, the Softripe banana develops a pleasant, sweet-sour taste with little sugar; we like to call it "the fitness banana" -> little sugar, yet tasty, light and palatable.

With each passing day, the fruit develops more sugar. It becomes sweeter, yet remains stable and firm. A Softripe banana develops more sugar content when ripe than conventionally ripened bananas

Laboratory analyses show that Softripe-ripened bananas develop about 48% more aroma in μg/kg at full ripeness compared to bananas ripened in the classic way (with the same delivery and fruit content).
