Better digestibility

It is also for us a very exciting topic for us. From our personal experience and the many conversations we have had with trade show visitors, customers and consumers, we can confirm that there are people who normally cannot eat bananas or who avoid them. They have digestion problems. Interestingly, no one had any complaints after eating bananas ripened with Softripe.

This should be of great interest, especially for consumers who pay more attention to healthier, natural foods. Currently, a study is being conducted in Brazil concerning this effect. We expect the first written results by the end of the year.

We suspect that there is no negative fermentation process in the case of controlled ripening and ripening which does not stress the fruit. That is exactly what could make the difference.
